CERI, Center of International research, established in 1952 at Sciences Po, focuses on Comparative Political Studies.
In recent years, several researchs have dealt with issues of energy transition.
Eric Verdeil, Professor of Geography and Urban Studies at Sciences Po, focuses on the political ecology of urban infrastructure and steers the Hybridelec project.
François Bafoil has lead research in association with EDF, for instance about the development of wind power in Europe, and about access to energy in Europe and South East Asia (Bafoil, Fodor et Le Roux (eds.) 2014; Bafoil (ed.) 2016). He will provide the project with his scientific expertise as a discussant during the intermediary workshops and the final conferences.
Laurent Gayer, political scientist, is a political scientist who has long specialized on the issue of order and violence in Karachi (Pakistan). In this project, he is interested in the way industrials manage and secured their access to electricity, including thanks to individual generators.
